For a belt loop, I tried integrating a simple cobra stitch/Solomon bar/Portuguese sinnet, with a gutted strand of paracord.

I used about a 4 foot length, pulled both ends thru the sheath at where I wanted the bottom of the loop, up the inside to where the top would be, both strands out the back and ends pulled through the center of the belt loop piece at the bottom, knotted back up to the top, and trimmed/melted the ends to finish.

Two shorter versions could be done parallel on the sheath for it to be worn horizontally instead...

I think I'd still like the option of adding a metal belt clip probably attached with a couple of short Chicago screws.

Made another sheath/pouch with the weave tightened up a bit more and the sides brought closer together. It makes it more compact and less room inside, but good enough for one of my SAKs. I will probably add velcro for the flap on this one...

One of my blog readers(Brian A) made a woven paracord 1911 holster. There are links to his photos in the comments section of one of my blog posts.

Here's a keychain in red, white, and blue...

Also had to show off some of the new skulls I got from the lanyard zone. Just finished a bow wrist sling with 3 skulls added.... the one in the middle has glow in the dark eyes. These are the best skull beads I've seen... and at the best price!

Well I have finally started today to make a Slatt's Rescue Belt on a 1 1/2" slide buckle (I intended to start one before Christmas), I'm using flourescent blue and red spot 3mm 140kg cord and it looks so far as if it is going to take about 25 metres about 27yds to fit my waist of 32-33". If it comes up short I'm going to have to unravel it and start again with a 50m drum of flouro yellow instead. So far crocheting about 14" has taken me an hour and a half including getting started, what's difficult is getting the tension right, if it's too tight you can't feed the cord through and if it's too loose it looks terrible. I have managed to get it tight enough to look ok to me but pushing the loops over with a thumb nail is hard work.
Sorry no pic's but still haven't figured out how to post 'em in spite of reading Lunaltic's advice.

Made this using about 18' of cord, a coglans compass, and a survival whistle buckle:

And made a matching pair for my wife and myself:

I'm working my way up to a full on paracord leash and collar, but for now my pup will just have to settle for this:

    very nice
how about instead of a simple compass, take the buckles off something like this: http://www.rei.com/product/777676, for added functionality?

I definitely plan to. I know I have an old suunto in a drawer somewhere... The coglans bracelet was made extra large to fit over a jacket in inclement weather as well.

Well now you've all gone and done it... I've been sucked into this whole "paracord" cult you've got going here. I've ordered a hundred feet of a few different colors and some SRBs as well.

I haven't "knotted" things since gimp was cool about 17 years ago, but Stormdrane's two-tone paracord watchband has got me jonesing. Black & orange on my Monster will look crazy good.

Bracelets and zipper pulls... here I come.

    Thanks guys!

Just wanted to quickly note that Supply Captain (where Stormdrane suggests getting paracord from), as well as Creative Design Works (where he suggests getting SRBs from) are both great to deal with. I ordered stuff early last week, and one arrived yesterday and the other today. Into the Canada, that's quick.

Here's a wrist sling I made for my new bow. The pewter skulls that I put on it are from The Lanyard Zone:
