ABoK knot #792, a doubled footrope knot at end of lanyard, and cat's paw with bull hitch twist at snap hook end.
I saw a tutorial on YT on this knot and it confused the heck out of me. I'll stick with the double diamond.
A 17 lead 4 bight doubled Turk's head knot on my walking cane. It was time consuming and difficult to complete, with me being legally blind, but I think it came out ok.
Very nice work! I use a four-cord braid for my dog leashes, too. How do you splice the handle loop closed, underneath that pretty covering? I haven't been able to invent a tidy, strong splice, so mine end up sort of crammed together and then braided over. :7)
I make and eye splice to form the handle loop. https://www.itstactical.com/skillcom/climbing/how-to-make-a-fast-rope-eye-splice/ The cover knot is a turks head, once tight I trim the cords close and tuck the ends back under with force to hide them. Then roll the knot between a heavy book and a hard surface to shape it and give it a nice form. In fact I do that a couple of times during tightening, it really helps.
