I got inspires last night and made up a leash for the dog. It is about 5' with an additional clasp up by the hand loop and a ring about 12" from the collar so I can shorten it for training and close proximity passers by.

i forgot to mention, you should make the loops on the ends where they bolt in a little longer than mine are in the pic. they were so short o had to make some other double loops to put on the end of them to fut under the big washers on the bolts.

Here are a couple turkey totes I just made. They're made for turkey hunters to carry their bird out. Just make a slip knot and slip the loop above the spurs and throw it over your shoulder. Makes carrying the bird much easier and keeps the spurs from digging into your hands/shoulder.

I also plan on making a dog leash attachment, so the handle will be interchangeable between the turkey tote and a dog leash lead.

Cord on my son's tetherball set kept coming untied, both on the pole (once) and the ball (thrice).

Not anymore...some bright yellow 550, and it ain't coming untied - until I cut it off :D

Paracord...it's not just for breakfast anymore :)

Stripped, whittled and waterproofed another hiking stick before coxcombing and whacking on the turks heads. Finished with a stainless steel rounded tip.

Switched my wave to belt carry, so rustled up a quick and dirty cobra stitch for it for faster retrieval :)

Since I was in the mood to post pictures - here is a min mag lite I did a few years back. I used it for early morning duck hunting where I didn't need much light and the wrap was handy for a better grip with gloves on.

I wrapped the handle on my dogfish and a few days later removed it because I didn't like sitting on it when I back pocket carry. Still looks cool though.

Since it took me forever to actually learn turks heads (still end up going to tutorials to double check I'm doing it right!), I've found myself wrapping everything in sight with the blighters. Now, if the cat would just sit still...[IMG]

I just barely know the celtic and diamond (lanyard) knots, but a turks head wrap is what I wanna conquer next :)

It's like anything I guess...simple when you know how. So I figure I don't know how quite yet as they still give me headaches :) God help you when you get to interweaves. I did find a brilliant tutorial which I'll dig out in a mo...hang on.
