Every time I see this thread I think to myself..."how could I narrow it down enough to be specific!"

Seriously, I must use my LM Wave 100x per day for one thing or other. I probably use it 4x as much as I used to ever since I put the clip on it and ditched the belt holster.

Today? I used it for opening the coffee can (but it's still pretty early yet, not even 5am.)

Yesterday? Fixed some stock fence clips, opened numerous boxes, re-wound the hose keeper on the stock tanks and about 50 other things I forgot already.

Amazing how useful one of those tools is when you get a good one. I really love the Wave because, to me, it is just the perfect balance between weight and utility.

Trimmed hedges with my Leatherman S2 (the pic, though, on another occasion.) I was too lazy to retrieve my hedge clipper from the garage. Yeah, stupid, but I have done even dumber things. Needless to say, I didn’t get very far before losing interest.

We had a new stainless crows nest put up on our (my dads) 67x24' commercial fishing vessel. The new location for the forward sodium lights blocked one of the running lights from view. So I had to move it up to the handrail of the new crows nest. I used my Charge to add a length of wire that brings power to the light because it wasn't long enough before and reconnect the light.

I used my Wave to adjust the straps on my holster. I'll probably change them back as it was more comfortable before.

This is just about all I need most of the times. Filed a nail down, tightened a door handle and cut off a string today![IMG]

Today, Mr Wave helped swap out the old prescription lenses for new non correction ones. Lasik is a hell of a think.

Got to work this morning, painting a pub - we were using a scissor lift over the front door and the pub is also a post office, so we had to be done before opening, so very early start. Realised all our gear was stashed in a shed round the back, behind a corrugated iron door fastened with a heavy deadbolt on the other side - and everyone still in bed!! Luckily it wasn't padlocked, but still inaccessible from the outside...I could see about a quarter inch of the deadbolt pin between the door frame and the wall, just enough travel to jemmy the pin back bit by bit with...the hacksaw/file on my big swisstool! Problem solved and no need to wake up the landlord!

I used my Skeletool pliers to unsuccessfully retrieve a jammed ink cartridge from the barrel of a Waterman Charleston fountain pen. With some pens you can store a spare cartridge in the barrel together the one in use. I spent over an hour trying to form hooks from wire to extract it but to no avail. The pen still works, but I am stuck using short international ink cartridges. At least it encourage me to be less verbose...
