Used my Tenacious to open a bag of pork rinds for my son, it was too slippery to tear open with my bare hands
Used my new ZT/H 0551 to slice some venison summer sausage & extra-sharp cheddar for crackers, seated on my meditation stump in the woods overlooking Cottonmouth Swamp,in the frost & fog. ~Gnarly
tonester, Simply stated, the ZT/H 0551 has moved to the top of the collection. I am elated with it. I own fancier knives...and prettier knives...and spendier knives...but this one makes them hide and quiver, and wonder what their next home will look like.Sometime after New Years, they'll be up for adoption. And I've never bought a knife that made me say that before. ~Gnarly
First I used my knife to cut my finger. Then I used it for a day of cutting zip ties, gas lines, and opening an oil bottle.
Same here Promptly put it away with a firm intention to be more careful in the future and treat it with the respect it deserves...
Next-to-youngest GrandSon came over tonight to show me his first pocketknife...an old Case XX two-blade with a lotta actual miles on it! He was very proud; his other GrandDad gave it to him. And he also had his first cut,on the end of his left thumb. We talked a bit about knife safety, and I told him: "If you're gonna play with sharp things, every now & then, you're gonna slip & cut yourself." Showed him my small collection, and ended up spending over an hour, talking knives to an eight-year old. He is a computer whiz, and before his other GrandDad gave him that old $5 Case, the only thing that held his attention was the electronic babysitters known as Wii & Play Station. Tonight I used my knife to learn a lot about myself,my GrandSon,and sharing a hobby.
Sounds like a great time Gnarly I used my Spec bump to open a NEW Kershaw Clash I received as an Xmas present...already have two, one is in the safe, the other is in my brothers pocket....but this one I can abuse;D
While I was making dinner with a friend, I found that all her kitchen knives were so dull that I had a hard time chopping carrots and peeling potatoes. My Flash I came to the rescue, and I promised to bring my Sharpmaker next time I visited her.
Used my new SAK SilverTech Spartan to open Amazon box and then the plastic packaging for 2 Nite-Ize LED upgrade bulbs for a couple of Maglite 2-D cell lights that I have put in the emergency car kits that I put together this week.
