I prefer tan, olive green and gray. All my EDC bags are khaki. The Zulu straps on my watches are olive green or British gray. I like titanium as well so some matte gray in the EDC gear that is metal.

    Black - not too tactical.

Usally black, but i have stuff in khaki, od green, and a jumbo in the orange/foliage which I like alot. If I had the choice the next bag will be foliage. Hi-viz colors are used when needed.

As long as it is inconspicuous in either an urban/suburban or field situation, I don't care what color my gear is.

Here when I wear the greens I get asked alot, "you just get back from Iraq"? - AKA good guy

If I wear all black then I look like an anarchist which might bring unwanted attention.

Black. That way I don't have to worry about anything matching. I figure nobody's going to mistake me for an anarchist (close, but not quite) at my age.

I prefer my gear to be black. Black is common and I don't have to worry about matching. :) If I had had to choose another color, it would be khaki, I don't like the look of the gray-greens like foliage green.

As tacticool as I think it is, I still prefer black. Colour is pretty low on the chain of importance when I look at EDC items though.

For me, I prefer black. It works in the field and at the office. My laptop bag is a black Countycomm BOB XL, and it doesn't get even a second glance in Corporate America. I have some gear in woodland camo and even hunting camo (I think it's RealTree), but I got it because it was on sale and decided to deal with the camo, rather than getting it because of the camo.

Black or O.D. green. Starting to really dig the khaki/tan although none of my gear is that color.

Tan, black, gray, basic neutral colors that draw minimal attention.

Nothing quite say "Look at me!" like outfitting yourself as an urban commando.

I am a fan of classic black myself. Looks good with everything, and like many others have said, draws less attention than something brighter.
