Been a long long tome since I posted. I’m now using the iPhone X. Absolutely love it.

Using a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 on Verizon that is rooted running stock Android. I love the battery life, and nearly full screen display without a notch.

Just upgraded to an iPhone XR. I debated on getting an XS Max, but it wasn’t that much better for the price difference.

Very recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S7 (served me well for over two years) to a Samsung Galaxy S9.

The wife and just picked up the Galaxy S10+ (moving from iPhones). The twins are rocking the Galaxy S10e. Combined with the Galaxy Watch, it's a great set-up for us. I got weary of Apple's closed architecture. I don't mean to start a flamewar. I like Apple, but we can do so much more customization with the Samsungs. It's upped the fun level considerably, although we do miss a few little things. I don't think we'll ever look back though. It took too long to transfer all of our media over!

Dualwielding iPhone 8 and 8+ phones now. Upgraded from 6s and 6s+ I have probably mentioned before.
Smaller one is my personal phone and plus size is the work phone for those PDF documents I need to read on the go.

8 I upgraded when I got a cheap one at black friday and 8+ was on a 12 hour sale couple nights ago so I decided it was time. Since 6s+ battery was kinda wonky and the (once already replaced) display was not always working, I decided to replace them both myself. Battery replacement was okay and new screen works fine now but I lost speaker and selfie camera in process... woops. I ordered a new replacement display that comes with said parts already so I'll try to do it one more time soon.

Carrying an iPhone XR. ESIM is my personal account and have the 2nd physical SIM as my work connection.

I went for the XR because of the extra battery life and don’t regret that choice. To me battery life is the most important feature of a mobile device. I have the Apple smart battery case for extending this for travel.

One improvement I wish Apple would make is to let you have different ringtones for each SIM. Most things are divided well but this seems to be a glaring omission for people who want to use the phone as both their business and personal phone.

I suppose what you could do would be to assign a unique ringtone to numbers you know to be 'personal' - meaning friends and family. Depending on how many there are, I realize this could be more or less of a pain. I do that specifically for my wife, son, certain relatives... But if the circle this includes is big enough yeah, might be a job....

For business/work, depends how many calls you get from prospects out of the blue and hence not predictable I assume.

Someone else may be better able to give you a more flexible solution...

Just up graded to the Note 10+. It's a beast! Super fast, should never run out of storage, great screen and 3 cameras.
It's just setting up a new smartphone is a slow process.

That’s the workaround I’ve been using. It’s not great and is a rare UX failure from Apple. They’re usually so good at joined up thinking.

Just picked up the new iPhone 11 pro Max 256gb. Couldn’t resist I have a problem with phones but this is my first max size and I think I’ll be content for a few years.

What are your thoughts on it so far? I have kind of been holding out for a 5g version, but it looks like it will be at least another year.

Coming from an iPhone X it is awesome. I love the bigger screen and the display is just amazing. Also the photos it takes are the best quality I’ve seen from a phone. Battery life is great. Moderate to heavy use yesterday and went to bed with a good amount of life left. If I were you I’d say get it! And I’m happy they were sold out of 64gb cause it forced me to get 256 and I have a feeling I’ll be using it with all the photos I’ll be taking and videos.
