The Contego, I'll carry it in the woods when I don't want to haul a fixed blade with me. [IMG][IMG]

Right now my largest folder is a Shirogorov F95T, hoping to grab its big brother soon, the 111!

Been a while since I have visited this thread.

I will say that my largest folder in terms of blade length is a Spyderco Endura (4") that has SS handle.

My favorite is sorta old school: a Buck 110 (3.75")

    In terms of 'larger/heavier' knives? How about a Kershaw Blur with a Tanto blade; ZT 0220 (3.5"); Spyderco PM2(3.44"); Spyderco Manix 2 (3.4"), Spyderco D'Allara 3 (3.4").

Just to round it out, a GEC #97 (Northfield UN-X-LD #976119) with a 3.75" blade.

    They're all fun! :)

    L'chaim!

I used to carry a cold steel pocket bushman a lot not so much anymore . It carries very well for a bigger knife. Thumb stud and pocket clip reverse for a lefty. I carried it clipped to the outside corner of my left rear pocket. I carry a fenix pd32 light there now

I usually stick to 3-3.4” blades, but the Shirogorov Hati-R (3.7” blade) is my largest folder and does get some pocket time.

I rarely can tolerate carrying huge folders but probably the largest I have is some CRKT that's like 11 inches open. Way to big to be practical for me, like a brick in my pocket but has a great lock at least.

ZT0452 every day. Today it was pressed into turkey carving duty. My niece didn't have a suitability sharp knife in her kitchen. Not many easy to carry folders can pull that off.

Usually, one-of-these-three 'biggies'. First-up; is the 'full-auto' Benchmade Adamas in desert-sand:

Next is the Cold Steel AD-10:

Last, but-not-least is my classic Al Mar SERE folder:

My Zero Tolerance 0301's 'fill-in' on the 'off-days':

I have no problem, or issues carrying any of these blades.

Added a new-knife to the "Big Folder" rotation: 4 Max probably the largest of all.

It seems to me that you guys are really rockin' lately with Italian large folders, even on the other side of the pond... :)

The quality of Italian cutlery is truly outstanding, to say the least. The Cold Steel 4 Max is impeccable in build-quality. If you hold one in your hand, they are awesome tools! Really they must be seen, to-be-believed!
