Either my ZT 0566 (not so much - I've named it "Buyers Remorse") or my Ontario Utilitac II. I have a Kershaw Tremor that goes along occasionally. Other than those, most of my folders fall in the 3" range.

[IMG]added to my large over 4" blade collection.
    Medford 187 DP 4.25" blade
SOG Pentagon Elite ii blade 5"
    SOG Kiku Matsuda 4.6" blade
    Cold Steel Spartan 4.5" blade
    Viper Rhino 4.25" blade
CRKT Otanashi Noh Ken 4.5" blade
    Cold Steel Talwar 5.5" blade
Obviously I just love large overbuilt folders. Am I overcompensating? Nah well maybe but I do have XL glove size hands and at 6' 4" tall , bigger knives just seem to handle really well for me.

Man oh man is it as good as I have made it to be in my mind to justify its expense? Just looks and sounds to be an amazing folder! 20cv steel?! Just wow

Well, as Bob (Dylan that is...) once said, the times they are a changin' . Decided to keep the SWAT MILLENIUM in the rotation. I've also got another somewhat larger folder now, a Spyderco SS Endura, saber grind. My rotation is numerous enough that neither will come up that often. And to be honest, even if I don't use them, I kind of like how they feel in hand even if I'm just sitting at home playing with them...!

The ancient fake Buck 110 that I bought in a street market in Taiwan in the 80's rides in the car bag. Scales are junk. Steel probably is like a 440; but never seems to rust and is hefty!

    L'chaim!

Before I traded them because they were too big...a PM2 and Manix2. Now my Kershaw Link.

The largest knives I carry are 4" blade Benchmades. I have a Contego and a Lum Tanto with 4" blades. These are my current largest folders and I only carry them occasionally. My normal carry knives range from 3" to 3.6". This is mostly due to the handle length, and I find that a 4.6-4.7" handle provides plenty of grip and that usually comes with about a 3.6" blade. The 5" handles just feel out of place and oversized, so they don't get out much.

My ideal carry is in the 3-3.3" blade with 4-4.4" handle. Anywhere in there is perfectly comfortable, but the Sebenza size 3.6":4.6" also works well for me at the upper end.

Serrated Lum no longer with me as I don't carry them often. Sweet knife though, and I sorta miss having a backup.

Kershaw Link Tanto and Junkyard Dog II or a PM2 are my largest EDC blades that see regular service.

[IMG]I know the para 3 is now the smallest of the 3 but it was my first spyderco so at one time it was my largest edc.

Currently, the biggest one I carry is a Spyderco Para3. I generally like the smaller EDC type of knives (small sebenza insingo, benchmade nakamura 484-1, benchmade mini grip 555-1, etc). I just added a titanium deep carry clip for the Para3 and it has made it much easier for me to EDC. I have some larger knives, but I tend not to choose those ones over the smaller onces. I have some fixed blades too that I'd like to carry but kind of impractical for urban area.

    I'm with him^^^

I used to carry a Spyderco Vallottan or a Sog Trident - now it's either my Endura or a Halo V(does that count...?)

P.S. I've been a long time lurker here drooling over everything. Finally made an account today and now my first post. Hello everybody!

I used to carry 4 inch or bigger. Cold Steel Vaquero was the biggest I really carried. CRKT M16 with the double guard was another biggie. Then I got a Delica. Then I got a Dragonfly. I don't really carry the big guys anymore.

I carried a Cold Steel Gunsite folder back in the late 90's - this thing was HUGE! It was also hard to open (but locked up like a bank vault), awkward to carry (I only carried it in uniform in my sap pocket) and the tiny serrations made it almost impossible to sharpen. After this, I went back to "normal" size folders.
