Well, I WAS watching Yellowstone. But I'm mad at them now. Towards the end the baiting for that 1883 show (which is slated to go to one of the pay channels) became too much to bear. Then there was all the online baiting and innuendo about future seasons. And the icing on the cake was the 10 month wait for season 4, only to have it be a complete letdown about nothing really. Like TWD, it started out as a great program, but as it aged the producers jacked it up, and made it more of a 'drama' / soap opera than a cowboy flick. In other words, they ruined it. And now, we don't even know if there will ever be a season 5 (and this is likely due to money negotiations between the stars and the producers, and the producers trying to sell it to the highest network bidder. Pretty disappointing really. And the whole 1883 thing really torqued me off! Talk about a bait-n-switch! And they just saturated the program with adverts for 1883. I recorded the last two episodes, and the 2nd to the last one was a whole 22 minutes of programming, and 38 minutes of advertisements (75% of which were for 1883). Enough! I think I'm done watching series programs. They always manage to screw them up somehow!
Nathan Fillion's pretty awesome in everything down to random guest appearances. Though I gotta admit Jayne Cobb is probably one of my favorite characters even compared to the old captain. I'm currently working on Buffy The Vampire Slayer season 7 of 7, so maybe we're all on a classic TV kick!!!
Awww. I like this whole series, specially the last episode. But I really LOVED1883. That series is on a whole new level IMHO. I do watch both without any adbreaks tho, so I do not see/ get riled up about them ads from my S-A-M-S-U-N-G S9+ via T-A-P-A-T-A-L-K
