I thought Debris was good too; but, it was the pilot after all. I'll need to see a few more episodes to determine if teh quality will hold up. But, yes, for a network TV show, it looked pretty good. It hopped on the "meta-materials" topic that have been in the news for the past year or so.
Critics ripped it as X-files adjacent. It runs circles around The Equalizer with Queen Latifah. That show is ABC after school special dribble.
Disclaimer: have only seen the trailer, but... Considering when X-Files premiered, critics need to get a grip. Other shows have already tread on the X-Files adjacent real-estate (Fringe, 4400, Zero Hour, The Event, etc). Think that should be allowed to happen every few decades. ATB, Sam
