Solitary Experiments - Do you Feel?
Motörhead - Ace Of Spades
Now your talkin'. Lemmy is God! I've seen Motörhead 6 times over the years. I'd have to say "Killed By Death" or "Under the Knife (slow version)" are my two favorite Motörhead songs. Ace of Spades is a great song but it's a bit play'd out.
Lately, I have been listening to the White Stripes a lot, because someone gave me some old cd's of theirs. I am also liking Shovels and Rope (Carry Ann Hearst and Michael Trent) especially the song Mexico.
Right this second, though, I am watching Mad Max.
That's a bit... tricky. Lemmy is an atheist. So does that mean he doubts his own existence?
And thanks to you, I will have "Killed By Death" stuck in my head the whole day. Great Job, Sir! ;D
Now I'm jealous.
EDIT: The Beatles - Happiness is a Warm Gun
EDIT2: In Extremo - Sängerkrieg - Sieben Köche
I did security at one of Motorhead's first UK gigs in a pub in South London, great guy, great band and we only had 2 incidents the whole night which was unusual for heavy metal fans in those days but most people were too stunned by the volume to do anything, in fact I think my ears are still ringing!
That is an old endearing phrase about Lemmy. You will see it on t-shirts at Motörhead concerts. Nobody takes it literally. Sort of like fans chanting Priest, Priest, Priest......... at Judas Priest concerts. Or like how he describes the two moles on his face as volume knobs. Killed by Death is an awesome song but don't ever watch the video. I remember seeing it back in the 80's on an old show called Night Flight. It was bad then, but the song is a classic.
Hey, you're aging yourself. ;D That would have been a great gig, something definitely to remember. I'm 45 and have been a fan since my HS days. I remember Lemmy used to have this massive Amp he called "Murder One". Every time I've seen them my hearing was numb even the next morning.
I wasn't being death-serious

Girl from the North Country (Bob Dylan)
The Joni Mitchell & Johnny Cash vertion in my view is a point in history that will not be replicated. Here's the Dylan/Cash version Dylan-Cash. I vaguely remember this song from the movie Mrs. Robinson.
