I like most 12+ y/o single and double barrels except Dalwhinnie 15. That stuff is tooooo smoky!

Recently had the opportunity to take my scotch palette to the next level. Woweee

Tried Forty Creek the other day, it's probably the least offensive rye whisky I've tried. Quite nice for budget drinking and rye & gingers.

I'm an Islay fan, namely Laphroaig (the older the better). For a Canadian whiskey I like Crown Royal. Vodka is Grey Goose. All this aside, if I partake, which is rare, alot of the time it's from a 20 dollar bottle of Windsor Canadian.

I recently was bought a shot at a local bar, it was called kalembu mamajuana. It is basically an aperitif or digistif type liqueur. It is native to Dominican Republic, and is a bunch of herbs and tree barks soaked in red wine for a while, the wine is discarded, and then the chips and twigs are then soaked in rum. It is only 60 proof, and is really smooth. I expected a Jagermister sort of harshness because of the botanical content, but it was really pleasant. It allegedly has aphrodisiac like and medicinal properties as well, but I cannot vouch for that. It seems to be relatively inexpensive, and perhaps a novelty drink, but it was an overall a good experience!

Kalembu Mamajuana sounds very interesting. I found a web site that talks a bit about, but it's probably not something you want to pull up at work. ;)

I like me some corn liquor a bunch, good thing theres a hefty supply of it around here.

Other than that, rum & coke are up my alley, not picky on the rum. Or rum & 100% juice, or berry punch.

Me an Sailor Jerry had a ton of "great" nights as well. If only I could remember half of them.

I think "ridiculously good" would best sum up JW Blue.

Right now I'm partial to Blanton's bourbon. Going on a vacation soon looking forward to see what's available at duty free. Alcohol prices here in Australia are ridiculous. :)

When I'm feeling like something with some class it's either Disorono or Hennesy. When I'm with the guys at a bonfire or a party its Jager.

I rarely drink anymore(diabetic), but I found myself at the local bottle shop and bought a fifth of Cruzan Rum 9. I've had it before, but it's been a while, good straight or as a mixer... :)
