I tried some Buffalo Trace at the pub yesterday; it may become a regular for me! Never thought I'd be a fan of bourbon.

I love The Balvenie Double Wood. Not sure if I would call it the best ever, but it's up there in my opinion, and can't beat the price either

Im mostly a rum or beer drinker
Favorite would have to be Bundaberg Red (with either coke or lemonade)
Standard Bundy, and BundyOP (with coke)

    I will also drink
Wild Turkey American Honey (with coke or lemonade) - I don't buy it often, but a bottle doesn't last long when I do buy it
Southern Comfort (with coke or Lemonade)
    Baileys (with Ice)
    Cointreau (with ice)
    Jack Daniels (with coke)
    Wild turkey (with coke)

I am more of a quiet drinker too - I don't like nightclubs, or loud party's, or bars
I would rather sit round a fire with good friends and have one or two drinks, and a lot of laughs, than go out and write myself off and not remember anything the next day.

For me it's a combo of the price and the taste, it's just fantastic. If Balvenie ever stops making it I honestly might shed a tear, then buy up as many cases as humanly possible given my tax bracket.

When I was able to drink I really enjoyed Seagrams 7 & 7-up, Patron, and Romana Black Sambuca.

Stalinskaya vodka (cause Absolut sucks absolutely)
    Beefeter dry gin
    Jack Daniel's whiskey
1792 Ridgemont Reserve Bourbon Whiskey (all time favorite but very hard to find in my area)

Good choice. Buffalo Trace is the house bourbon here. I also like peaty scotches - like Ardbeg - and rye.

My one bottle of expensive whisky is Amrut Fusion. It's got a bit of peat in it which I really like. I just might ease myself into some more peaty whiskies.

Anyone that appreciates a double-wood Balvenie does NOT have a problem! :D I love the Caol Ila as well, like drinking straight tar...!

Nice, I'm going to look for that scotch next time I'm at the store. I need to expand my horizons.

My only regret is that a bottle never seems to last long enough. :D

That reminds me, I need to complain to the distillery about their corks, they obviously let the whiskey evaporate!

Whenever possible, I try to "buy local" and support small craft brewers and distillers.

My current favorite sipping spirit is Middle West Spirits OYO Vodka - made with Ohio soft red winter wheat

Straight: Maker's Mark, Laphroaig, Highland Park. Blended: Absolut Vodka, Bombay Sapphire Gin or Bacardi. Too bad that I just got diagnosed with type-2 Diabetes so I will have to cut down on the hard stuff :-(

Good choices! Seems to me that beer would be the one to watch out for;). Make sure you take care of yourself. Sugar levels are nothing to mess around with
