So, my wife, kids, and MIL are visiting my BIL out of state and I'm left here to fend for myself... like an animal. So I was craving I don't know what and decided to try one of the kid's Carnation Breakfast Essentials in Classic French Vanilla and I have to say that it is the biggest culinary let down since I can't remember when. Truly horrible. It's like gritty vanilla cough medicine.
Stick to the eggs bacon and grits T.H.Cone any food that has to be described in three words or more is generally a let down .

Now I'm eating a Greek yogurt. It had a little tin of mini M&Ms on top. I ate those first.

I am such a pig...I bought 3 lbs of edamame (immature soy beans), shpritzed some EVOO and sea salt on them, and then steamed them, and ate the whole thing. I had no idea they were so good.
My classic garlic bread club with bacon , and sharp cheddar , lettuce , black forest ham , and a touch of mayo. Some baked cheddar cheese chips on the side it was really good .
