    Was out of town all weekend so had nothing in the house for breakfast. Planned on getting a vending machine sandwich but neglected to put my wallet in my pocket, so no cash or credit card (I've forgotten my wallet maybe one other time in my life). Drove wife's car and backup stash of dollar bills was depleted. Luckily I have protein bars and several 28¢ ramen cups in my desk. So protein bar & chicken ramen for breakfast. It's good to always have a backup to the backup.

    YOU are welcome anytime in my home or at my table!

    Today I'm gonna make Bacon and Jalapeno stuffed Chukar, Cornbread, more Pecan Pie and sweet tea. Since being off work I hang here and cook I like to cook, It looks scary but tastes good so far.

    Yep Like Partridge. I'm not being flip at all but it tastes like Chukar, Pleasant wild bird. Not gamey or greasy. Darker meat but not like dark meat on a Turkey. If you get here for something Hit me up and I will make the food and entertainment worth the stop.;)

    I've been going back and forth with another member here about pics. and the process, Well my moose of a Lab. Who's tail is always going and like a ball bat messed up the camera when she knocked it off the desk. I am in process of buying a Nikon now so I can contribute pics. I often feel bad I can't right now but they are coming.

    I'll look forward to it then:), As a side note. I'll share recipe's with anyone who wants them.
    Believe it or not everything I cook with is geared toward a healthier life style, none of the ingredients will hurt your waist or heart in moderation.

    Sweet....that the way I cook, too, but we go for big flavor, with spices, heat & sweet, etc.

    What do you stuff the Chukar with...jalapeño & ?

    Jalapeno, Garlic, Smoked cheddar, Sometimes depending on the crowd smoked Turkey sausage as well.

    I'll rub the outside before the before the bacon with a game bird spice mix from a local store call Con Yeager spices, I suspects you can get them there as well Quite popular.

    We do big flavor here as well. Either hot, or sweet, or Salty or all of the above.

    I've been busy, but not too busy to eat:D

    On Monday it was chicken legs on the grill seasoned with some Jamaican spices from a family friend who works for a Jamaican food company in New York:)

    Off work Tuesday so Mrs.Plumbah and I went to Taco Punk in downtown Louisville.

    Today we celebrated Independence Day by grilling in the rain. You can't stop an American male from grilling his meat:pFlank steak:)

    Before the meat the peppers and onions went on...(notice the saran wrap covering the back of the stove? Kept it clean:) (Bonus Trivia: Saran Wrap was invented by a Louisvillian:))

    Perfectly prepared...Medium on the thin end of the Flank Steak, Medium Rare in the thick end...aka my[[MY end:p

    MrsPlumbah did the prep and I did the grilling. Good ole American teamwork;)
    (I know it sounds funny...A Belizean and an American are cooking Mexican Fajitas for the Fourth of July:rolleyes:So we made up for it with patriotic tableware:p

    I used my EDCF native 5 to open a box of brownie mix. Way more satisfying then simply ripping open the package



    Edit:I meant to put this in the "have you put your EDC to use today"thread and missed. But it sorta fits since I am now eating said brownies
