EL Fudge cookies. I enjoy biting the heads off. That probably indicates some deep seated psychological problem, but I'm ok with that.

Could be worse. You could be doing an Ozzy.

Myself, I'm just having some instant noodles. No time for anything better.

LOL! I guess. In a good crop, part of the problem is the danged noise them make when they fall on my roof. Wakes me up at night.

There was a market where I used to live that shipped in mangoes from India, they'd sell out pretty quick. Environmentally not the best practice, but they are the best dang mangoes ever!

We had homemade mac and cheese, broccoli, and veggie chicken nuggets for dinner tonight.

We have a couple places like that here, but by the time the fruit gets here it rots pretty quickly. So its either that or else it out of season, forced ripe, that just gets harder, not juicier.

But when mangos & plantains come in good thats, like, almost all the fruit we eat!

I am on day 2 of my new Primal/Paleolithic eating.
I have cut out -among other things- refined sugars, wheat, grains, pulses/rice and most dairy. I feel good so far. I want/Need to lose 100lbs and bring my cholesterol to a safe limit. This seems to be a good bet and i may be able to stick to it as I'm not STARVING!!!! And no carb/sugar crashing so far!!

Tonight we are having a pan fried mix of chicken, bacon, onions, peppers and tomatoes with cauliflower and broccoli on the side.

First big Primal type shopping excursion on friday (payday).

Just curious, but what whole grains are you eating. Sounds like a big part of your diet.

whole wheat, rice and oats are the big main ones known in North America. Barley is fun, cooked up a pot today. Ate it as is, save some for soups or mix with whatever. I see Whole Grain Pasta on the shelf now, been trying Barilla brand. Anyone into Macrobiotic Diet?

What do you do for protein? I've been losing weight on my plan, but I still want to push it further. I've been vegetarian and vegan (for a very short time) but they didn't work well for me. I did them the "right" way, but my energy was low.
