No wonder they're running you out of the southeast! :slap:

I guess I'm bucking the trend here - homemade beef stew and cornbread.

I maintain that salad and breadsticks at most restaurants are mere window-dressing. The road to premature-fullness is paved with unlimited salad and breadsticks. And I say this because I've fallen victim to unlimited foodstuffs at restaurants more than a few times...

Hey, we're all descended from barbarians and are basically animals anyway. The more "civilized" one is, the further away from the truth they are, I say. They can have the Gulf Coast as far as I'm concerned; hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, and schizo-weather in general! Cali might be crazy, but it's home sweet home! :D

I'll hop on this bandwagon also. My dad makes an awesome beef stew, and my sister's gotten pretty good at making cornbread. I'm hitting up the old man for some stew as soon as I get back. Or maybe some chili! The old man's chili is also a force to be reckoned with!

Mom's going to have to make me some chicken adobo with ginger. That's for certain. Holy cow, I may actually gain some weight if I'm not careful! :-X

    El Verbo - Lucky!

Me? Just made the wife and I some stacked turkey sandwiches with chicken soup. After, Starbucks Christmas blend coffee and Orange Milano Cookies. :smitten:

The baby boy, just some warm milk straight from the tap. :-*

I pan fried a nice piece of pork tenderloin a few days ago, and have been making sandwiches ever since. Reheat the pork, toast the bread, mix up some tabasco and a tiny bit of mustard with a lump of mayo, and spread that stuff around... Mmmm, gotta go make one right now.

Not actually eating right now, but I got some shrimp ceviche calling out to me from the fridge. Seriously thinking about answering it back.
