Strathisla 12 year old single malt. Spending the last hours of the weekend in front of the fire place enjoying some fine whiskey.
Never had the Strathisla 12 year old, how is it? Comparable to which other single malts?
Don't know. To be honest this is my first time drinking single malt.
It is smooth compared to the islay ones. Or so the shopkeeper says.
One of my favorites.
Cigar city key lime ipa. Very good. It's a special occasion. . I don't normally drink before friday
Margaritas by the campfire.
Good People Pale Ale. Very tasty.
On my second Stone Brewing Enjoy by 10.31.14. I got four for free because our beer order writer doesn't feel like he can sell them due to their name. Works for me. I think they're a 9.4% abv. The wife's away at a conference and it's the weekend so why not!
Does it have a good key lime flavor? I'd like to try it if I can find it here in Georgia. Incidentally, I was born and raised in Bradenton.
Holy crapballs this was a great batch this year. They come out with a unique "Our Special Ale" each year at this time. This years turned out great!
I've had mixed experiences with Christmas ales. I had a wychwood one (and I really like their hobgoblin) and it wasn't great. My tipple this evening:
