Third shift amber lager. Says it won a gold medal. I dont know how. But then i always wondered how pbr got its blue ribbon.
I have a choice to make. Water, coffee, our the small bottle out sake that has been in my cupboard for two years. Remember, big brother is watching
That's what I went for last night, but tonight i'm a little better stocked In about an hour when my daughter is sleep I think i'm going to start on the left and work from there. Remember, big brother is watching
Been drinking a lot of this stuff called water lately. Had a pretty bad flu the last few days. Good thing the worst of it was on my scheduled days off. I do miss the taste of a good beer..
Excellent options you've picked there. Samuel Smith always makes a tasty beverage. My only minor complaint would be with their organic chocolate stout. Same for Lagunitas, though I've tried fewer of their beers. Strange, considering Lagunitas is from this state and Samuel Smith is from the UK. Never tried the other two. Is Founder's easier to find in the Midwest? Because that's where I'm headed for July 4th holiday.
Founders is based in Michigan so I would think you would find it on your trip.it just started showing up around here. They have 2I want to try but they are a little pricy. A oatmeal stout and an imperial stout. $11 per four pack. I'm afraid I'll like them, that habit could cut into my already meager EDC fund Remember, big brother is watching
I enjoyed the best beer I've had in awhile yesterday: Stella Artois on draught...they even served it in the fancy-dancy glass that's supposed to make it taste better http://www.amazon.com/Stella-Artois-33-Centiliter-Star-Chalice/dp/B00569I38G Excellent!
It's probably just me, but I always get a kick out of drinking from the "official glass" or whatever they refer to them as. When up in Victoria BC my wife and I went to an "Irish" pub in the downtown that had the glass for every beer they had on tap; and the had a LOT of beers. The best, and not just because I like the beer, was the Hoegaarden glass. It's a monster, yet it's just a single pint in capacity.
Lots of coffee. Got a call at 3:30 this morning from the police; someone had broken one of the windows out of the front of my store So I've been sweeping up glass, moving merchandise from the foyer , and cutting and screwing up plywood to cover the hole. It may be Sunday, but it sure as hell feels like Monday to me.
Strong, black, rotgut, swill coffee. Jetfuel. Made in a disgusting wet-ground-encrusted drip coffeemaker, at work, with the finest coffee available in a northern Manitoba mining village: President's Choice. Drank from a never-been-washed plastic travel mug. Flavour country. Tough to be a coffee snob out in the boonies. But only two more weeks in my rotation, then I can go back to civilization.
