I'm not much of a straight whiskey drinker, but I came across this while watching an EDC video: It's a blend of Bourbon, blended Scotch, and Rye. I found that intriguing so I bought a bottle. It's interesting, smoky, with caramel and butterscotch notes. That's all I can discern, as my tastebuds are more attuned to red wines. I've had Campfire twice and it's slowly growing on me.
My wife brought this home the other day because she liked the bottle. It's actually pretty good, and only cost $16...
Price tag is too hefty for an everyday drink, but I love this one. Austria est imperare orbi universo
When I see “themed” booze, I shy away from it. Wether it’s GOT Whiskey, Cowboy Hooch, Moonshiners Secret, this, or anything else. Same with “Designer” or Celebrity Vodka. Maybe it’s good, but I might never know because I will not buy it. Prejudice is a virtue. Austria est imperare orbi universo
Out of my daily red blend I have at Noon, opened a 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Edenvale from southern Oregon. yes, enjoying this with Tillamook cheddar and dark dark chocolate.
ran23, Just read up a bit on the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Edenvale; it reads like a wonderful Bordeaux blend! Great pairing too
