Last night I finished off the Haig Clubman. Christmas will bring a Maker’s Mark, a Kraken, and some decent red wines, beers and ciders.

Just water. Nothing interesting because I am at work but will be getting into some other beverages over this Christmas period.

Laphroaig Select. I like it but it´s not my favorite Laphroaig. 10 years age and especially the Quarter Cask are waiting.

The Select is very nice for its price point.

No pix but had a few VOODOO ranger imperial IPA'S while cooking dinner for the kids and during dinner and after dinner clean up. Now drinking Binnys Clark and Sheffield bourbon while watching Rare Exports with my son. :)

Yes, I think the Select is a good starter for Laphroaig whiskys. But in Germany the price difference between select, 10 years age and quarter cask is approx. EUR 3.00 only. Because of the small price difference I would go for the 10 years age. But don´t get me wrong, the select is still a tasty whisky.
I'm curious about the quarter cask. Haven´t tried it yet.

This is one of the tastiest budget scotches that I’ve came across. [IMG]

Started last night hitting the craft breweries and bars of San Diego. Came back and opened up this Christmas present from my daughter and son in law. Then we started smoking cigars. Then we went and bought more cigars. Somehow, this bottle got much lighter...[IMG][IMG]

Right now, I am sipping on a bit of Bulleit Bourbon. Not especially fancy, but a pleasant enough sip.
