    So at the moment my local pub has this beer. It's called Mick The Miller, by the By The Horns Brewery. The taste notes say “a light amber ale with soft caramel notes and a fruity yet spicy hop finish. Perfect for autumn!”

    This is a great British beer, which tastes different to subdued than its pale ale cousins - there's a balance between bitter hops and sweet, biscuity malt. Also “expect hedgerow flavours rather than tropical fruit”.

    I love it!

    BTW, Drinking real ale from a pot/jug makes it taste better for some reason?

    Have you tried Laphroaig Triple Wood? It’s less expensive in some places and I like it better (blind tasting of 4 Laphroaig) on a side note what your blade in the pic? Gota say I like it

    @kye4some
    No, not yet. In Germany the Laphroaig Triple Wood is more expensive (approx. EUR 40). Normally I take the Laphroaig 10 years. The Select was a special offer from a local discounter.
    I think I prefer the Laphroaig 10 years. The Select is more .... mainstream. Very tasty but nothing special. Not easy to describe. English is not my first language.
    I need to try the Triple Wood in the future.

    Edit: Oh, the blade ist the Kizlyar Supreme Ute

    A stout from Singlecut called Heavy Boots of Lead. Poured like syrup. Absolutely amazing. A new favorite for sure. [IMG]
