I feel that I'm missing SOMETHING in my EDC. Please recommend me something that I don't already carry. I carry the following every single day:
-iPhone 4 (Verizon) with Otterbox Defender Case (black)
    -Spyderco Paramilitary
    -Leatherman Charge TTi
    -27X27 bandana (international orange)
-Victorinox Super Tinker with LMF Scout on keyring.
    -Timex Watch
    -Paracord Bracelet
-Keys (Jeep, house, CC micro-pry bar, "spy capsule", and monkeyfist)
    -Surefire E2D LED Defender
-Micro FAK that is kept contained within a 3X5 Bank of America zip-up bag
-Rite in the Rain Notepad (3X5) with Fisher Space Pen
    -Petzl Headlamp

I'd like to incorporate a sewing kit into my EDC somehow. Perhaps in my FAK?
Also, sorry for not posting a pic. It probably would've been easier.
So, recommend me something else to carry!

I'd stick w/a bic. I've never been satisfied w/ 'good' lighters. They usually 'crap out' after a time and, while I like to tinker and take things apart, lighters aren't one of those items. Get a 4-5 pack and keep one with you.

I don't think there's anything NOT on your list. Maybe a USB key? I don't use mine often but it's loaded w/framakey and has some very useful tools.

I tend to carry a lot of stuff which I don't find many people here carrying.

I have a Sitka with all the normal stuff (knife, light, fak, standard stuff) but in addition I keep:
    Ziplocks of various sizes
    Thread locker tape
    Super glue
    Electrical tape
    some wire nuts
A big sheet of folded tin foil
    zipties of various sizes
    nail clippers
    small set of metal files
    small prybar
    wetnaps package
goo-gone liquid for removing pesky stickers or residue
    militec grease and lube
old toothbrush with 25ft of dental floss on handle
    safety pins
    sponge (small)
wire coathanger straightened and then folded small
    batteries
    a couple protein bars
    space blanket and rain poncho
    earplugs
    needles and thread/sewing kit
small package of 1.5x3" white stickers I can write stuff on
moleskin for sore spots or padding
    klein 10-in-1 screwdriver

Maybe more, this is off the top of my head.

I have removed all extraneous packaging and condensed everything down so it is compact and efficiently placed in the bag, and I still have a ton of room in my Maxpedition Sitka.

    Hope I helped a little.

You guys are getting carried away now! Edc should be useful durable and easy to carry so you actually have it.

    Multi tool horizontal belt holster
    Knife
    Keychain~keys usb pillfob light
Blow out kit~ superglue suture baggie duct tape and still has room for more in an altoid tin
On the go pack of floss or flosscard
    Disposable one time use toothbrush\pick
    Cellphone, watch with compass
Pen paper (my pen is on keychain)
Sunglasses with clipcase which you can store paracord in too and still have room for the shades.
Fresnel lens in wallet and a lighter

2 carabiners on belt loops 2 locks on beltloops if you think you may need to secure something.

I'd get a Zippo and call it good. What are you carrying everything in? A BIC is great but just something about a Zippo.

A zippo is a good choice if you use/refill it regularly and/or find a way to keep the fuel from evaporating. Most people today don't use the lighter they carry on a regular basis and having a zippo that wont light is frustrating and a waste of space/effort. A bic will most likely never need any maintenance and will light the first time (when full, and dry) and be lighter/smaller.

A trick I used when I carried my Zippo is to get one of the rubber bands they use on lobster claws (or broccoli) and keep it over the seem where the lid meets the body. It slowed the rate at which the fuel evaporated but didn't stop it completely. Also, petroleum eats rubber, so be careful of getting fuel on the band, you just might make napalm or something.

simple-silver-oil-lighter (I got mine at dealextreme but countycomm sold them for a short time too)... It's Zippo's problem solved. This lighter uses zippo compatible wick and flint as well as fluid. This is screw on with a o ring to keep the fluid from escaping. There are still situations where a butane lighter is best but if you like the oil style lighters mine was under 3$

There are some situations where flint and steel just don't cut it, it pains me to admit.

Yep, add a lighter. I prefer a Zippo but you may not. Other than that it sounds like a great EDC if you ask me!
