Do you like briefs, boxer-briefs, boxers?? i.e. tight or loose? Personal preference in that simple question means a lot.

Duluth Trading: Buck Naked Boxers or Boxer Briefs. I got the boxers. Best I've ever worn.

+1 I'm wearing some right now. I usually prefer boxer-briefs with the occasional brief thrown in, and while I've tried quite a few different brands of "technical" underwear over the years, I've been sold on Ex-Officios since I first tried them last year. Usually some of the bigger Ex-Officio retailers have good sales a couple of times a year (33% off IIRC) and I stock up then.

Ok.... I'm in a public forum chatting up underwear with a bunch of dudes...... OK that said..... I just bought new undies..... Bought a three pack of Dickies brand tighty whiteys (they have Boxers also) at a local hardware store. Loved them! Nice wide waist band! Went back and bought a dozen more in Black, Gray and white. I also bought Dickies brand Tee-Shirts, work shirts and a VERY COOL Soft Shell Hoodie Jacket!

I have to agree with GH the best underwear I've ever worn is Johnson & Johnson Pure Corn Starch baby powder. It's been 10+ years for me and nothing can ever live up to freedom.

another vote for Ex Officio Boxer Briefs. They wick moisture very quickly and are the ultimate for travel as they can be hand washed and dry within 2-3 hours.

I only buy the cheap or fairly cheap stuff... but

For briefs, Merano (Target store brand) are the easily the best I've found. Still, I don't think there are any actually really comfortable briefs.

Maybe if I were to buy something in the mid-upper price ranges I'd change my mind, but I doubt it.

Under armour boxerjocks, are awesome. $5 cheaper than exofficio and just as good. maybe a little tighter in sizing but great nutbags.

Another vote for Ex Officio, though expensive they are the most comfortable that I have ever owned. I have a few pairs of Under Armour and I just do not wear them unless I really have to. EMS Techwick is pretty good as well.

Ex Officio for me, too. I bought a few pairs to rotate in, and now it's all I wear.
