The "sign on" email made it's way to me on yahoo...
I have Comcast, and it works as it should.
All the emails that were sent to me from the forum were going into my spam folder. Gmail address. I've corrected the issue for myself, but obviously can't do anything about the global issue.
ok thanks then I haven't had any problems then!!
gmail for me lets them through for me.
Works for me, using hotmail
Is Bell South letting messges through or blocking them?
I use gmail as well. The confirmation request message I received last night went into the spam folder. The account approved message I just received went into my Inbox. I also sent an email reply to the edcadmin account with my thoughts / insights on the issue.
I don't see a message from your stilagrrl email address, did you use a different email address?
I found your message. We actually started having the problem before the password message went out. I might have made it much worse by sending it out though.
We don't have much history at the server and IP address we are on now. We started planning the move to new software but we moved to a new server first. A fair chunk of the time the forum was closed due to a software migration that took more time than I thought.
On mass emails I think we have sent out 4 since we started in 2006. 2 had to do with a custom run of product from Spyderco and the other 2 were informational like the one to people with password issues.
On the password email we did find out we had some members that had not logged in for years because they had a password issue but never told us about it.
If you have an email address in your address book for gmail it let's it through to your inbox and not to spam. I have sent some emails to spam only to recieve them at a later date in my inbox. Gmail is strange in that way, or have an email go into your spam pile occassionally.

After investigation, Verizon Online Security has determined that e-mail from your IP address will not be allowed access to the Verizon Online e-mail domain due to one or more of the following reasons:
Your IP has been blocked because of spam issues or because your ISP indicates that it is dynamically assigned
On iPhone and iPad it is the "Bulk Mail" folder.
Also I am getting forum emails in my Inbox now and I use yahoo.
I'm on Yahoo through sbcglobal.net and have not received any e-mails from edcforums since the forum Manix e-mail. Nothing in my inbox, nothing in spam.
Edit to add: I just checked my profile again and was showing my username as my e-mail address. I put my e-mail address back in, so maybe it will work now.
My default mail is Ymail(yahoo), but it doesn't have a bulk or spam folder. No matter...we figure it out.
I'm using a sbcglobal.net address. Is there a way for you to shoot me an email and I'll let you know what it does?
ISP = Cox Cable. Email = gmail. Receiving all forum-generated emails with no issues.
I sent the test email.
