Nice homebrw! Love those unique cannonball hands! I got a new Seiko Spork! Haven't taken pics yet, but they will come.
Yes, its the Seiko SRP043K, sometimes called a SPORK. It has the 4r15 movement in it. For the first 24 hours I'm at +7 seconds so I'm happy with it. My wife said she had a hard time finding the watch as it's been discontinued.
I am hard on watches as I use power tools and am in the workshop a lot. I have a daily wear of a Orient Mako Orange Dial, a modern quartz pocket watch for that classy look and I inherited a vintage Seiko automatic, it was my friends (deceased) and before that it was his fathers, it wont run needs a new strap, new hands and a new crystal. I am planning on getting it reconditioned and restored this year and making it my going out watch.
I have many watches, all being relative affordables, but the one I find on my wrist most often is the Seiko SKX007. This watch is solid, simple, and looks good, in my opinion. I have rubber andNATO/ZULU straps for it, but the only thing it ever seems to live on anymore is the jubilee stock bracelet, so comfortable.
I thought the same thing when I saw the picture. Eyes didn't adjust the see the arm for a couple of seconds.
This is my first post. I got this bad boy for Christmas. I'm putting a Zulu strap on it and then I'll get some more pics up. I'll try to do some pics of all my EDC gear.
Great strap! I pm'ed you in case you don't see this thread. Gotta ask where you got it. Want one bad!
