Oh boy, that sure is one nice but virgin TSAR.... you take her out much do you, or don't you use it as a midnight-beater?

lol, yup she was a virgin not too long ago. (Oct 2010 contract) I bought it three weeks ago and have been wearing it for pretty much everything but the shower. I've heard the chemicals in the soap or whatever can be bad for the gaskets/seals.

Hopefully she'll look this good in six months. ;)

Bought mine brand new as well ('07 contract) and i've worn it like 25% of the time since and it always goes with me through the shower..... no problems... I do however have the rubbers replaced on all my quartz' whenever the battery runs down but that has only happened once thus far on the TSAR. Great watch!

Ya they are great watches. (Solid) and that tritium lume is really something at night. I'm glad I finally decided to pick one up.

Marathon is only an hours drive from my house, so I'm gonna take a drive out there soon to pick up the bracelet.

Did you end up purchasing the bracelet for yours? if so how do you like it?

Great watches indeed! You don't want to know what mine has been through, when it finally stopped i at first thought that the movement died (not that big of a problem, its easy and cheap to replace) but in the end it only was the battery, it never showed any eol indication.... i guess im a bit spoiled by my automatics.

The only thing that broke on mine is that the lumed triangle thingy fell out of the bezel but again, not really a problem.

I never ended up buying the marathon bracelet because..... well its bloody expensive for a bracelet as basic as marathon makes it, for that kind of money i want a ratcheting clasp but it only has one of those floppy press-fit clasps. In the end i just put a Seiko Monster bracelet on there ($15) because those are brilliant!!! Nice buttons on the thus double locking clasp to keep it put, okay dive-extension (im no diver but i do like to wear my watch over my gloves in winter times) and it has some serious heft to it because of its all solid steel construction.

It's weird, but that's actually fairly common among TSAR owners.

Looks like most TSAR users use it in the way its intended then ;)

I'm still hunting for a tritium vial small enough so it can fit upright in the now empty triangle.... that would be a sweeeeeet mod!

Soon to be in, just ordered! (the one on the left) i guess my wife felt jealous for getting what she wanted, and let me get my watch, cant wait till it comes in! only thing is, its a negative display, yet my other casio the one on the right, is a positive display, any advice as to changing it over to a negative? is it that hard? I saw some step by step, didn't look to bad, and where do you get the film? as you can see they really don't match, at least if the displays matched it would get me somewhere! JR

That would be a pretty sweet mod if you could find them.
I think I'll just fill mine in with a GITD glue mixure of some sort when mine falls out.

Ya the bracelet is darn expensive! I don't really see what justifies such a high price either.
It's gotta be a good bracelet I'm sure. Just alittle over priced.

A LOT of the guys with the marathons suggest the watchadoo bracelet. I mean like the guys that have drawers full of Breitlings and Rolex's. Supposedly they are all solid stainless just like the marathons only at a quarter of the price. Plus I like how they look better. Check em out...

A lovely Orient Blue Mako. My Black Mako is doing a decent job of keeping accurate time. But I got rid of the stock rubber strap literally a few hours after I started wearing the watch. Replaced it with a Zulu strap. Seems they were made for each other.
