I have a luminox as well, and I know several people within the public safety field that wear luminox. I can say that it is one of the very best watches that I have ever owned. I got it from an online dealer for a discounted price. I have had the watch for 2 and 1/2 years.

I did the DIY thing on a photo box. Used white shower curtain over a frame made of PVC pipe. Couldn't have been easier Basically made 2 square out of PVC using 3 Way 90 degree connectors, glued up, and then I use straight sections to connect them. I've got it in storage right now, but I need to get it out anyway. I'll post pics of it then. But wait...what will I put it in to shoot the pics? lol

For ~3 yrs, I've been wearing a Tag Heuer Formula 1. I don't usually own more than one watch at a time. I'll wear something until it breaks or until it can't be fixed which is why whatever it is, it needs to be durable, have a high water resistance rating or waterproof (I live on an island) and has to go with my jeans & boots style. I was sporting a black Baby-G until I got my Tag as a gift from my brothers. (regular G-shocks are too big for me and most of them are too "manly" looking, or look like I should be flying a jet). Tag Heuer also happens to be my "dream" watch. The only time I've ever taken it off for an extended period of time was when I visited the P.I. :)

Haven´t had a watch since late teens. Have thought about buying a watch for a long time.

So today UPS delivered a Smiths Military 36mm PRS-29A from Timefactors in England. It´s a manual wind. Don´t fancy a watch that is dependant of batteries.

    So that´s what I´m wearing now .

Very nice! You're a bit casual about it. Some of us know the history of those watches.

Well, I´m a newbie in the watch-world. Don´t know much anything about them. But happened to stumble upon timefactors webshop and fell in love at the first sight of the smiths military. Did some googeling and found a great review by watcharoo. That was the last push to make me order it.

It´s really a fantastic watch, just my kind of style and the history was very interesting too.

About me being casual, I´m no good with words. Very quiet in the real world, too.
