That awesome robust case would overpower leather. Rubber may work IMHO.
Wedding gift from wife 9 years ago.

Aloha from Hawaii
Here is mine. 1984 Chrono. One of the first 500 they made.
All i wear is G-shock for about 10 yrs now.
You have really a very nice Breitling Heavy_Hog. Not much different from mine ...
SUUNTO Core All Black, I upgraded from a vector
Casio Baby-G goldrush limited edition, with clear case & strap.
What many, including myself, consider the G-Shock "grail" watch, the GW-5000. I have one myself. Very nice.
Nope, I don't consider a G-Shock my "Grail" watch. My "Grail" watches are a Ball Nighttrain & Sinn U1.
Got a solar atomic Baby-G for Christmas. So far it has held up very well:
I would LOVE to own a Ball Night Train... black dial, SS case, SS bracelet. If I had one I would probably stare at it way too much at night!
Oh, I know that you would, no probably about it. I do the same with my traser when I can't sleep!
Most of the time a Titanium Tissot T Touch (whow, all that TTTTs). Unfortunately it lacks some kind of illumination for night use, meaning if geocaching at night will use a Timex Expedition E-Compass (titanium case).
Thanks. There's no tritium on the second hand, and the bezel does indeed rotate. Unfortunately it's only got a luminova dot at 12 oclock. If I recall correctly, I paid around $255 shipped for mine. You can see what Jeff offers here(who was wonderful to deal with BTW):
