I love this watch!
Rolex Submariner. I got it just after jump school when I was at Bragg back in 1985. I paid $1085.00 back then. It's been with me just about everyday since. Over 2 dozen jumps, 22 different countries.
They are so expensive now, but as you can see after 22 years it has held up pretty nicely.
The KHS Commander Titan Pro. Limited run of 199 watches. Mine is number 42.
It's all titanium, with blue trittium tubes in the hour markers from 1 to 11, inclusive and the second hand, orange at the 12 hour marker and in the hour hand, and green in the timing bezel and the minute hand. It's so light it feels like I'm not wearing a watch.
The image is a link to its flickr page, where if you click "All Sizes", you can see the photo in super-massive format.
rik, that is a great looking watch!
Seiko 007 on a Desert Tan 2 ring Zulu with low-lite hardware...
Yes, yes it is. And I otok some trouble to photograph it nicely, too.
I agree it's a real beauty...but do you wear it or is it a safe queen?
I'm wearing it! I don't have the money to buy watches and not wear them! I've got a honking great big bill for fixing my car coming in - there's no money left for spending on things I'm not going to use.
Looks darn good with my dark grey pin-stripe suit too.
Glad to hear it...that is a very nice watch - would be a shame to keep it hidden away!
I'm an auto-mechanic, I can't wear my watch on the job so I tend to take it off and just throw it in my pocket. Or I set it on a table in my work area. I've lost my watch numerous times, and after replacing my second one I decided to just buy a cheapie I can afford to replace. Unfortunately I think customers steal them, so I also wanted a "no-bling" watch that isn't very interesting.
Low and behold...
I am wearing my Seiko today (05/12/07)
