Have any of you given up a smartwatch for a traditional wrist watch?

@lawmanhdg I had a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier for couple of weeks before sellong it. It didn't manage to do anything that my phone or a wristwatch didn't already do better.

My first watch purchase in years, after seeing the price get down to where it was not going to get any lower. It’s also my first solar-powered watch. I replaced the stock canvas green band with a black silicone band. Oh, I also put a crystal-protector on it.

I always like the old school looking Casio watches or old military inspired watches.

@Pavetski and @Moshe ben David. I have not developed a preference for a particular brand of sunglasses, or flashlights etc. as I have with knives (Spyderco) and handguns (Glock) and rifles (Kalashnikov) but I have recently decided when it comes to watches I am a Casio man!

Same here, these days. I used to wear Timex watches 90% of the time, but I think their quality & features have declined in recent years. Two reasons I previously preferred Timex were water resistance and the backlight (Indigo) feature. Most of Timex' watches now are only 50 m water resistant. Casio has analog watches (my preference) that are 100 m water resistant and with better backlights than the Indiglo. Consequently, I currently own 1 Seiko (workplace gift), 1 Timex, and 3 Casio watches.

I scored a Bertucci DX3 with super luminous dials for like 40 bucks slightly used.

Attached is a file photo, I don't have a pic yet of my actual watch.[IMG]
