This week going very 'retro': Casio Men's AL180AMVV-1 Tough Solar Digital Sports Watch. No battery. Solar cells charge a capacitor. Single charge good for ~~ 21 days! As usual, pic from Amazon. L'chaim! Moshe ben David
MBD, how accurate as in if set at 6am what will it be 24 hours later? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
I don't use the alarm function. OTOH, the time keeping itself seems to have pretty good precision (remember, accuracy means the absolute number and precision is a measure of repeatability... which I think is what you're asking!). I check all my watches against the time on the cell phone. This watch is off a bit but I believe that is because of how I set it, not that it is drifting. It gives consistent results relative to the phone. I'd still recommend for optimal results that you seriously consider one of the watches that checks itself by radio against an atomic clock daily. I'm a fan of the G-shock for that. Not all are bulky -- the 5600 series is trim enough to fit under a shirt cuff with no problem! Although this solar Casio watch I'm wearing this week is even trimmer... But it is no longer available via Amazon! It may be out of production; I do not know. L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Thanks. Wal-Mart doesn't have the greatest selection of Casio. I saw a different brand of digital whose name escapes me that I like for how it looks and reads. But am not willing to spend $25 To find out if it's accurate/precise. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
I have a 5610 and it is always spot on. But I never need that accuracy though! If it's within a minute I won't miss the subway and that's about as accurate as my life demands.
Fossil qNate black with brown leather band. I like these hybrid smart watches. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
