Just showed up today... first watch I've worn in 10 years. Gonna be retiring to Phoenix in the fall and needed something to remind me what day/date it is
Yeah, so far so good with the new Citizen. All numerals and hands have great lume to them though I haven't tested them for duration. Very light weight and comfortable... I can't even tell I'm wearing it. Time will tell ;-)
Nice watch, enjoy! Citizen Eco-Drives are excellent watches, you get a lot of quality and durability, and for the money they can't be beat IMHO. My 17 year old Pro-Master Tough Eco-Drive is still on its original capacitor and going strong.
First congrats on the retirement!!! Second you are absolutely correct on the necessity of wearing a watch in retirement--- I've been retired for 3 years now and wearing a watch keeps me, well, in touch with the world in a manner of speaking... It is easy to lose time, and days in retirement--so take it from me you are on target by wearing a watch daily!
Momentum Monday for me. Ti Atlas. This has to be my favorite quartz watch. Happy Memorial Day to all! -JB
