@Zero Nine: I am liking the 'clean' look of your watch. No, not referring to a lack of actual 'mud' on it, LOL. I like the clean display and lack of complications. First Mudman I've seen with this clean display and layout! Most just seem way too complex for my simple tastes.

Actually drove me to go to Amazon and see how many versions of Mudman they sell. Had no idea there were so many!

Hope you continue to wear this one for many years to come!

@jcombs: like the clean layout on that Certina 1888 watch. Gotta wonder if the designer is in a subtle way giving homage to Mickey Mouse watches...

Thanks, it is a nice watch with a very clean fit and finish. I must admit that you see things in pictures that others don't. Mad genius, perhaps?

I thunk about wearing the Waltham today. But I can't see that watch all that good in the morning. So this Watch Gear is to be my Wednesday watch.

Thanks brother! Yeah, this thing is a tank, and such a slim profile. My wife is a carpenter and has a purple/black mudman, never takes it off. They just handle the beating. I'll see if I can snap a picture of it when I get from work, you'll be surprised at how cool and :censored: it looks XD

Gulfmaster. Picked it up today, it's not a keeper and I will end up selling it but it's nicer than I thought it would be and it was worth the dough.

Perhaps delusional? Back during my undergraduate chemistry days many of us were also convinced that the physical structure of H2O PROVED that Mickey Mouse was cosmic being!!!

My new Seiko SNKK19, 7S26 movement. Arabic date and day :) (English is also available, but I can figure out the day anyway.)

    Yes, the whole face glows!
This is the lower end of the Seiko line movements, no hacking, no manual wind. It keeps pretty good enough time though, out of the box +18sec/day. I figure it will settle in after about a week like most of my watches to around +10/day.

@ac7ss: I have three Seiko 5 Sport watches with that movement. I find them very dependable. One of mine is older -- dates back to the 90's and has a suffix of 'a'. The other two, more recent, are 'c' suffix. The interesting thing is the older one has the crown at the 4 o'clock position and the case size is very similar to a simple Seiko 5; the other two have the crown at 3 o'clock. They all take weekly turns in my rotation...

That full glowing face is neat.
