    Here goes....

This showed up via FedEx today. I've had automatics for the past few years, but have been working my way "up". Earlier this month I was on travel at business meetings and realized I was "out watched" by about everyone at the meeting. Got serious.

Just opened a new Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Co-Axial this morning.

Any questions pertaining to any females body parts or any hair styles, gets the same response from me....I slowly walk away and find beer.

PS: The same concept with any questions pertaining to said food you prepared or served me(hint ladies, if I liked it - I ate a lot...if I didn't - I pushed the food around on my plate, and say "just not too hungry today")...followed by customary slow walk away, and find cold beer ;)

    (FYI: Cold beer fixes everything)

Congrats, I love mine...especially on a nice strap since the clasp doesn't have micro adjust.

Did you get the C or D 2500 movement ?

This is the new 8900 movement. So it's the anti-mag, certified, and has a micro-adjust. Just to be safe I've also ordered a couple of NATO straps, a leather strap, and...oh yeah, an IWC-type canvas. And an Omega buckle.

    Go big or go home.

Ahh, great...I should have looked closer and I'd have known that. The 8900 has great reviews, a tad thicker than the 2500 pieces.

    Wear it in good health

Unlikely to get "out watched" with that on your wrist at any function. That's a nice piece, congrats.

You would be surprised. I probably should have gone for an Aqua Terra or something dressier. I just have a mental hangup that I really like bezels on my watches.

I am stalking the Damasko DA34 at the moment but a GSAR will be right behind it. Not sure if I will get the auto or quartz as a grab and go but either will look great. The auto is the obvious choice, both of those look cool. One of the great tool watches to own, imo

I told myself that it was a Lifetime purchase and then I bought it twice?
I think the JDD,the bigger one is the keeper but I can see times where both might be handy too.
Luckily a freind is all hot for the GSAR right now too.
I was not worried about an Auto really as I shoot with the other hand as well as hammer and most rough deliberate things that might be slightly worse for an Auto vs Quartz but I am not that worried either way really after watching that second hand sweeping for a little while!

Damasko are always on the radar I guess too but only if I can snag one for a great price too.

Vostok Komandorskie white Russian air force.
I had it running lock step with quartz on the desk yesterday.
It slowed down overnight to nearly 10 seconds slow.
Gonna follow the trend today and fiddle with it if I must.

Loving the ability to have many different looks on a watch. Only problem is I miss wearing an actual 'real' watch and not a gizmo. Wondering if I can pull off the two watch look. Any other smart watch users facef this dilemma?

I went back and forth for a while. Pebble smart watch. "Real watch". Then Apple Watch. Then back to an actual watch. My Apple Watch now lives on my wife's wrist and I'm completely content without another device that has to be charged almost daily.
