The way things look probably the same Timex I have been wearing for almost 6 years. And I was wrong. It doesn't loose time. It gains about 5 seconds a month.
Battery is on medium so I thought I would charge it up some today...except there is no sun and it's starting to snow now
Finally a watch on my wrist since don't remember when.. Just a Seiko 5 but I'm excited about it. I was reserved about the green color but after seeing it in person I'm really happy I went with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My Maratac Large Pilot ARC (anti-reflective crystal and normal crown) arrived today but I REALLY don't think the crystal is AR as it's like a freaking MIRROR plus it's domed so every time I check the time I just see my reflection, very distracting! Also, all of my AR lenses on flashlights reflect almost nothing except some blue haze and this reflects every color of the rainbow. Bought the watch used on eBay, think the crystal could've been changed or something? See the lamp? See the phone? Update: after several hours with the watch, the reflectivity is RUINING it for me! I'm 99% sure I'll have to sell it because every time I glance at it for the time I get distracted by reflections...I've never had this problem with a watch.
Well, if the crystal could be changed once, it can be changed twice. See if a watchmaker can set you up with something nice, maybe.
Well I'm sure it can be replaced, I just wonder if it's supposed to look like this or not. Anyone with a Maratac able to give some input?
I have a Maratac Large Pilot, and cannot recognize the issue. Yes, it reflects light, but not to the point you're experiencing.
Thanks for the insight! I really like the watch but the reflections are killing me. I'll make some calls on Monday about a new crystal.
