I was looking for a dive watch to fit my fairly small wrist, and in the end opted for a Citizen 300m dive watch (model BM0000-04H) - I found when comparing to some of the similar sized Seiko's and similar that the shape and design of the watch itself make a huge difference, my Citizen fits me perfectly, yet I tried a few different alternatives of the same size that just dwarfed my wrist - just the shape of the watch and how it fits your arm. So if you can, visit a few jewellers and see if you can get the chance to see how a few different models fit your wrist, especially if you have smaller wrists where it can be more tough and go whether it will 'work' on you.

The Citizen military style watch (the BM8180) looks good too, and with teh slightly smaller face should be a good fit for a smaller wrist, I have to say I am tempted to pick one up as an alternative to my diver (on a black canvas band)
