Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a watch for my 24 year old daughter to wear at work as a manager at a rather upscale restaurant in Boston. She likes to make bold fashion statements as she is a local title holder in the Miss America program. Something reliable that won't turn her wrist green....

    Budget is $500.

    Thanks

I know little about watches and even less about fashion but I personally am a fan of multiple cheaper watches than one expensive one.
Some gals like big clunky watches others are into the tiny unreadable things.. her style would dictate which way you go, my wife for example loves her bright orange Gshock *shrug* I donno..
I like swatch watches personally, cheap, reliable, tons of styles to choose from, all with a quality movement.

What about pink Apple Watch? :)

Hard to believe I said that, but its actually a very useful wrist wear because it will have notification from the phone and it doesn't look like a G-Shock. For non-watch people, smart watch actually make sense. :)

Check out an omega constellation. Look for a vintage one. Great watch timeless style. My wife’s had hers for over 25 years without a single issue.

Maybe ask your wife if daughter has ever expressed an interest in a particular watch or style?

With your budget, you could perhaps get her two; a Baby G shock or Swatch for work; something a bit more stylish for other occasions? Although if it were me I'd give preference to the Baby G over the Swatch... I think Casio nails it!

    L'chaim!
