Just, you know, don't post them all at once. Put them up them over several different posts.... That way all of us 1911 fans won't OD on a single post....
Yep Now remember though, In my previous life in Uniform I was one of the T&E guys. So a lot of what I own was/is a tax write off, because I am qualified with it.
Whatever reasons you may find, I am very grateful that you do. Some guys like football, I like hitting the football at LOOOOONG range. Oh and short range aint to bad neither....
You a wild and crazy guy warchild!! But 8 1911's that's just nutz!!!..........................................
I don't have 8 that I use, I have 8 1911s. 2 From my Grandfather. 1 1911, and 1 1911A1 2 Colt Civilian Models, Gold Cup and 1991A1 which I intend to be an on going project when I finally have time for projects. 2 Officers size, 1 Colt, 1 Springfield. I do carry these in the summer or as Backup from time to time. 1 Kimber TLE2 I have on me more often than not. 1 Kimber Target, Commander length that I put a front Trit. sight on, and alternate between the above and this. So honestly I have 3 that get carried more than 4 times a year. I do carry 1 of my Grandfathers every 4th of July and it has become something of a Tradition people around me expect
I don't care what the other guys say, Sum 19, but you're alright. As a guy who likes to take out his Grandfather's canoe, I had to fightback a nostalgic, sentimental tear when I read that. I may be a gruff and grumpy dirtbag on the outside, but...
I never considered you to be any of those things, But back to business. My Grandfather was a man whom I could only ever wish to be like, if I am one tenth the man he was at my last day I was one hell of a man. The 45 in this instance was his carry when he did carry, it was his in the Army and he said often, if you had to waste time with such foolishness, waste it with something that would win the fight. He was someone who knew of these things.
I think I watched IT to many times in my formative years. Something just plain creepy about clowns, is that Edward Gacy in the back. The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
