Hi guys. I need a new watch. What brand do you reccomend? Have owned some Casio's and Seiko's. But want something different. Price doesn't really matter. But no Rolex type prices please... Lol

Before I made a recommendation, I'd need a little more to go on.
What style of watch are you looking for?
    Divers style?
    Digital or analogue?
    multi-dial chrono?
    Dress?
    Bracelet or strap?
    Quartz or mechanical?

Personally I like Citizen watches, and am very partial to my Ecozilla, but it's a big, bulky watch and doesn't suit everyone.
Narrow it down and we'll see if we can come up with a few suggestions.

Well, analogue. Strap or bracelet doesn't matter. I would like it to be big, but not too big. And no dress. I'm not a formal person. Chrono or quartz is fine.

By the way, I have no knowledge of watches. Just looking for a reccomendation. As I said, I've owned a few good ones but I'm no expert. Just want to know what time it is and where north is...

Easy for me. Victorinox Swiss Army Rucksack. I don't think citizen makes a good knife.

A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.I guess that makes me just a giant Peter.

There will come a time when the Peters get tired of getting robbed.

Just looked them up. Those are nice. Kind of the sort of watch I was looking for. Thanks

Shinola are made in the US and all, but are quite pricey for being a quartz.

you want a high quality mechanical watch at a reasonable price, Swiss look at steinhart (though actually assembled in germany) Japanese look into Japanese market SARB, SARG, SARX line ups from seiko (easily bought and shipped) both run from 300-900ish Euro depending on what you are looking for.

For an inexpensive watch that looks and behaves like something 40 times the cost, have a look at the Invicta Divers watch. They sell them on Amazon.

I'd probably go for a citizen eco drive divers watch.
They're a nice tool watch with a decent mechanism that keeps good time, plus you don't need to buy batteries.
Keep it on the rubber strap or swap it out for a nato/Zulu strap, or a nice leather strap.

I wear an Orient Ray Raven almost every day to work. Or a Seiko 007. Either would last longer than you'd care to wear them.

Citizen Nighthawk is great for the price.

Orient makes a ton of different models, always with excellent value.

    Marathon is another interesting brand.
