Mail call! A reather good Alox day.. Farmers. only keeping one of the blue ones. The two others are going to new homes later this week. NIB Old cross Pioneer. A little shelf update.
Great Mail Call!! You are like the Alox Ninja I have been trying to work on my Farmer collection. Do you know how many of the Violet color was made? You have a great collection. Hopefully, mine will be half this good one day
Hi nice to see other norwegians here . I wonder have you ever had trouble with police carrying folders like the dragonfly or sebbie, I really wanna edc my dragonfly, but am a little nervous about carrying it, might go back to one of my swiss army knives :/
I see problems on the horizon. If you increase you shelf size to fit more knives (it looks pretty full to me), you may not be able to back away far enough to get the full shelf in the picture (due to your room getting to small)
I think the violet ones was a run of 50 if I'm not mistaken.. Just hang in there and spend whay too much on Alox and your collection will grow.
Hallo. I have never had a problem with carrying any knives, mostly because I have never been stopped by the police here. :Å I think the dragonfly carries so deep in the pocket, and the clip could look like a pen clip, so it doesn't scream that you are carrying a knife. Depending on where you live, one of the most "people friendly" knives is the traditional fixed blade in a leather sheath. I can go to the local store with one on my belt without any looking funne at me.
Time to buy a new lense for the camera with a lager view then.. Lol. I think it's time to just put all the junk knives away, and make room for the ones the decerve to be displayed.
I guess "depending on where you live" are the operational words here. The same is true in my little corner of South-East Norway. Also, if you're in work clothes, a Mora is hardly even noticed around here. In central Oslo, however, things are quite different.
Yeah I live in the northwest, never been stopped by cops either, except for random alcohol tests (lots of drunk drivers here :S), now I think I'm gonna dare to carry my "lethal" dragonfly Thanks !
I guess that will probably be quite OK. Just remember that according to Norwegian law, the carry of any knife in public is prohibited without a legitimate reason. Outside of central Oslo, it is extremely unlikely that you will ever be searched, unless you do something really stupid and/or illegal. Also, I think the tiny Dragonfly isn't very likely to raise any alarm. However, I believe it is a good idea to think things through.
If i'll ever be in Norway, and if so i hope it will be in his nearby, i really hope that Vesp could lend me one of his not-slipjoint knives, if i was in the real need of one...
I should have a few spare ones, si if you are in my part of the world, I guess I could land you a few.
Yeah that's what worried me, I have read up on the law, but I think I'l only carry my dragonfly when out of the city :/ the executive the rest of the time
