Decided to start my own thread. Gonna kick it off with a breakdown of my work bag that I have with me, within 25 feet of me or in my car 24/7. Maxped gridflux, 40 oz hydro flask and a couple cheap beaners Admin pouch - boring just some pens (1 fountain pen) Top pocket with maxped mini first aid/hygiene kit Main pocket with maxped edc, iPad, Bluetooth mouse, and a pair of cheap gloves
Today's EDC I work for a specialty contractor. My title is Sr. Project Manager. My work leads to needing to have some sort of EDC and then a EDC type bag. I carry this stuff on me most every day. Sometimes drop the gun depending on where I am going by the rest is almost always in my pockets. The reason behind what I have is I may intend to spend the day at the office, or the home office (aka my 12x20 heated and air conditioned shed) but at the last minute have to head to a job site or travel out of state for a pre bid meeting ect. Having a standard gear set up makes it so all I need is clothes for a one night trip.
Well the EDC saved the day today. By having my little tool kit with me and using the bit kit with a torx bit (in the skeletool) I was able to tighten the screws on the roof rack of one of our trucks. Same guy that made fun of me for carrying a multi tool was the one who needed my help.
Been a while. Did some changes with my bag. First change was sold the gridflux and bought the Riftcore. I couldn't get into the slingger type bags for whatever reason. Sorry guys. Going to be back at it again here soon. Changed jobs and have been busy but getting back to the forum.
Alright boys. Time to start carrying gym clothes. I just signed up for a 6 month membership at the gym by my office. I need to drop 30-40 lbs in that 6 months. Right now just using a small duffle. Might try to use the goruck bullet after a little bit.
Light load today. And also day 1 of hitting the gym at lunch time. Definitely clears your head for work after lunch. Man did I get weak over the past few years.
