Most wish list threads end up with plenty of knives being mentioned that are more than $50, so let's try a variation: Post your knife wish list, with one catch - the knives mentioned should be $50 or less shipped.

And no trying to count on Ebay to stay under the $50! ;)

    I'll start:
    Kershaw Storm II
    Kershaw Vapor
    Buck Hartsook
    Boker Subcom
    Boker Trance
    SAK Hiker

You're thinking of the TDI. I want one of them too!
    I also want:

    Buck Hartsook
The GID Vics (I can't see myself EVER having enough Vics... )
3rd Gen. Spyderco Ladybug (FINALLY in VG-10!)
    A whole flock of Byrds

I need to stop thinking of knives I want need! :broke:

Man, I have to take a scan later tonight to tease... uh.. I mean to show off with, yeah, thats it. :D I have recently become completely infatuated with all the good toys that can be bought for less than $50.

    My want list:
    - Boker Wharcom
    - Victorinox Locksmith
    - Cold Steel Warhead
    - Byrd Flatbyrd

    I am carrying right now:
    - Boker Trance
    - Victo Bundeswehr / OD OHT
    - Boker Rescom
    - Victo Compact
    - Byrd Cara Cara G10

    On my desk:
    - Byrd Robin G10
    - Big Ziplock baggie of NTSA (stolen)seized Victorinox knives off of eBay. UNREAL deals to be had out there right now.

    At home:
    - CRKT Dogfish
    - Victo Solo
    - Kabar TDI knife

I had a Ladybug III and a Buck Hartsook, but sold them booth because they were just a little too small for me.

Here's a few of my favorite cheapies:
The Ambassador ($4) and Compact ($6) both came off if eBay cheap with damaged tips, so I reground them into sheepsfoot blades and convexed the edges.

Last two purchases under $50.00 have been the Benchmade Vex - Great hefty liner, and a Boker Trance - nice knife. There are many more knives (under $50) than there were just two years ago. Can you say Taiwan/China.

I just bought a Kershaw Mini Cyclone for $40.00 plus 7.00 for shipping. I opened it once and the speed safe strut broke. The seller agreed to an exchange and the broken one is on it's way to the post office now.

There are still CRKT Apaches out there? Those were always some good knives. Wouldn't mind having one again.

    Also:
    Boker Subcom
    Boker Rescom
Vic Explorer to replace the current one. (Thirty years old and still going, but I'm afraid I'll lose it someday and it has a lot of sentimental value to it.
    Kershaw Leek

Still a few apaches to be had. I really like my mirage as far as feel and size, but no matter how much I fiddle the blade is not Sharp. Hence similar knife with ats-34.

Vic Soldier (especially since my Camillus buys were crap), Vic OHT, and a Ka-Bar TDI Last Ditch. I could always use another Leek if it's a fast one, I suppose.
