The only ink color right now is black. Custom ink sizes can be very expensive due to order sizes required and only one was doable at this time.

    Thanks

I received my Valiant Ti pen today. Awesome EDC pen. Tiny, light, nice machining and finish, and very pocketable on the keychain.

    Thanks Jon!

    Re: Valiant Concept

"Valiant pen makes it prone to coming apart when it is retracted. This may have been fixed, though"

I read in another thread that the Valiant pen are prone to coming apart when retracted. Does it really come apart in your pocket easily?, how much threads are left once the pen tip is fully retracted?
I like every aspect of this pen, but just a little concern with the number of threading and don't want the pen to fall apart in my pocket.

    Re: Valiant Concept

I've been carrying mine in my pocket since long before they were available for sale and have never had the issue.
The newest cartridges, in addition to finally being Fisher pressurized, are slightly shorter and do not require the tail to be unscrewed as far to retract the tip into the barrel, which should eliminate any potential problem with unscrewing.

Because I don't use Fisher pens, can you explain to me the benefits of a pressurized refill? Thanks.

    Re: Valiant Concept

The Fisher Pressurized Pen Refill will write under any condition: freezing cold and extreme heat, at any angle (including upside-down), on wet surfaces (even under water!) and on greasy surfaces.

I did a quick review on the Valiant Concepts Titanium Pen if you are interested to read

I finally pulled the trigger on one of these. Went with the SS version though. I just couldn't justify the extra $$ for only about .13oz difference in weight.

Hopefully the SS will hold up well for me. Looking forward to getting it.

My SS Valiant showed up today. Even after hearing everyone say how small it is........I was STILL amazed!! This thing is tiny. You really have to see it to comprehend. Very small, and very light. I am happy with it.

Yep! ;D Used it twice yesterday. Wrote very smoothly. I will say, if you order one, add one of the smallest McGizmo clips to your order too. It's hard to write with the rest of your keys/keychain thingies all attached. I will have to get a McGizmo so I can quickly clip it off and use it.

The smallest (Pico) clips are extremely small, I'd say even too small. A 20mm or 25mm works very nicely, and makes it quick and easy to remove the pen from the keys for when you're doing more than just jotting down a few numbers or words.

Just ordered the 15mm and 20mm McGizmo to see which one works better.
