Am I missing something worth while from USN? I never understood all the instagram tags till now... From what I gather it's about expensive knives primarily?
Are there any special requirements to join the Usual Suspects Network? Do you have to be invited by a current member? Can anyone join? I have been hearing about it for years . . . never been invited.
I just joined...so EDCF member that have dual membership, I would like to hear from you! It will be awhile before I can read all the rules and get familiar! Looks like an okay place, so time will tell!
I'm an inactive member there, too rich for me and lots of fan boys that attack if you say anything off course about their beloved one. I didn't comment much but did tread softly.
I also feel like it can be an exclusive club. I will see how I feel about it in a month. The mods really tout the family friendly bit, so we shall see... I think it depends on where you hang out on the forum.
I hole heartedly agree.....I've been a member there for some time (not as active in terms of posting for that very reason) But I will say it's one of the best online resources for knives and is/has been a great way for fans and creators of gear and knives to interact. I was introduced to the term EDC back in 2005 (even though I had been doing it since high school) through the USN and my wallet hasn't been the same. Great knowledgeable people and treading lightly is an understatement until you get comfortable. With that said I've never encountered a more tight knitted online community like the USN nor one that had more influence in the knife community in the world. There is no place like it but it may not be for everyone.
Do I win a prize for the most necrotic of necropost? I registered, but I’m still waiting for the confirmation email. How long does it usually take? 1week? 1 month? What?
