Veleno D2 on car keys, just for the sake of it
As for EDC, Novatac 120E (hacked to 120P), or McGizmo Haiku
    Nightstand light : Lummi Fliklite
Night reading light : SP120 (just a plain NT 120 with a sand color)
Not sure how to use it flashlighht" : SF U2
    "Heavy duty" : SF 6P with an OGAZ programmable drop-in, SF M2 with a Nailbender XP-G drop-in
"Heavy heavy duty" : SF M3 with an incoming D36 Nailbender drop-in

Lummi Wee NS et RAW NS are very useful, when you just want to fondle, though :)

Before posting this, I thought I got rid of all my unuseful lights, but after reading this, I'm really not sure... Who cares ? :D

Olight i3S-A single AAA for EDC. I was going for small and light with a common battery.

Some cheapo "UltraFire" for around the house. Fun to play with.

And a whopper plug-in light for shining at trouble outside of the house.

Haven't gone camping in a while. I always used generic crud for that before getting into EDC.

Counted on these two for years.
They both predate the HDS namechange.
An exec 200 (I think), and a High CRI w/ Osram Golden Dragon +.

Floods, ice storms, rebuilding motors, hurricanes, kid so pale with the flu I couldn't sleep (I will never be without a high CRI light after this).

I think the black one chipped one of my teeth.

I trust these lights. They've never failed me once. Not even close.

Henry sure can make a light.

    Currently...

    Keychain / back-up = Nitecore Tube
Around the house = Prometheus Beta QR 2 or other small AAA light
    Pocket EDC = Olight S1 / Thrunite T10T / Zebralight SC62W
    Outdoor / work = Zebralight SC62W / Nitecore MT20C
Bedside light = Zebralight SC62W (gotta love that ultra-low moonlight mode)

I think this just highlights how diverse a light the SC62W is.

    Key chain SF Titan
Dog walk P3X or Hound Dog
Bored 6P for nearly everything else

I really would be stuffed without any of them.

Coast TX100. White, red and black light.
I like the black light for checking breakers in electrical rooms at a glance.. The red is good for looking for stuff in my car.. I blacked out mu dome light.. I don't like making myself a big fat silhouette.. I know, I'm paranoid..
But really, 3 color options in one light, I like that.. and for the money.. I'm on my 2nd Coast in 3 years. Got my MOD messenger bag stolen, trusty Coast was in it.. Well, they're inexpensive enough, run on double As..

    • Streamlight ProTac HL: on-person EDC for several years, left leg front thigh pocket of Taclite pants or shorts
    • Streamlight ProTac 2L: in center console of truck
    • Streamlight TLR-3: mounted on Sig P250, lives at my desk (day) and on my nightstand (night)
    • Streamlight ProTac HL: extra on my EDC bag
    • Streamlight Polytac: mounted on Rem 870 Tac shotgun, bedside
    • Streamlight 1L-1AA: on-person dual fuel backup option, left leg pocket of Taclite pants or shorts
    • Surefire Minimus headlamp: lives in my EDC bag, used every morning (before sunrise) and late at night every evening for dog walks

    Bonus:
    • my other half carries a Streamlight ProTac 1L, optimal size for her small hands and easy for her to engage the tail switch.

I've been looking at the Fenix PD35TAC as a possible entry point into Fenix lights... I like the size, features and available accessories.

Give away Surefire 6PX to nephew, who got commissioned in the US Army. Add Maratac 123, Lumitop Prince to pocket rotation.

Ever since the 47's passaround, I've been a big believer in the Quark AAx2 lights. This was before they changed to Four Sevens. For the longest time, it was my primary light to grab for anything. As I could afford it, I purchased multiples to keep in places such as the backpack, car, desk, etc... Since winning the drawing for the Xtar Darkwalker, the Quarks have taken the backup role. The Darkwalker is my primary light now for just about anything and everything.

I trend towards the simple and often inexpensive side of the spectrum...
-Streamlight Microstream: pocket light, has seen more pocket time than any other light in the collection
-Pelican 1910: occasionally carried pocket light; too short battery life to be a primary for me, often find I don't need 70 lumens in a single AAA form factor
-Maglite LED Solitaire- the light I carry most often now. Cheap, USA made, comes in colors, love the form factor and aesthetics, fits in pocket well, bright enough for what I need, and simple.
-Maglite 2D with Nite Ize LED- my glove box light, comes out when I need a killer runtime or a durable light to beat around a bit
-incandescent Maglite Solitaire (no, not kidding, believe it or not) : my "reading in the car" light- not bright, but perfect for doing close up things that need very little illumination without irritating other people in close nighttime proximity too much
-Elzetta b133: my current bump in the night and high-performance go-to light

    Left to right
    Surefire 6p with Oveready customization
    Cu Maratac Rev 3
    Veleno deaigns D2
The surefire is of daily use and resides on my bedside table for house use and occasional outdoor activities
The Maratac is my edc and has been for several years. I love it.
And the D2 is part of my slimline carry when I have pants not as conducive to pocket clips

Good stuff...thanks for sharing everyone. My user lights have changed a bit since I started this thread.

    Currently:

    1) EDC - Thrunight Archer 1Av3
    2) Home Security - Thrunite Archer 2Av3
    3) Bedside reading and midnight bathroom run - Thrunite T10
    4) House/Car/All Purpose Utility - Thrunite TN4A

All in neutral white, and all use AA batteries. The changes from my original post being #1 & #2 above.

EDC - Fenix E05 (original version)
Bigger torch when required (camping, exploring, etc) - Fenix L1T or 3d Magnate with LED upgrade
Head torch (camping, working, etc) - Zebralight ...something (sorry, can't remember the model, barring it is an angled head torch model and a few years old now)
    Keys - Streamlight Nano

That's about it for me really, I guess you could add in a couple more E05's stashed about the place, and a couple of cheap lanterns used camping...

Bedside lamp & sneak to the bathroom light Olight S1A
Kitchen / back yard Olight S1 (early model i believe with moonlight memory)
    Keychain Olight i3e
Living room valet tray Rev 3 AAA copper Maratac (sits in there with a Hap40 Ladybug, some nail clippers & a Swisscard)
EDC bag which is more of a child repair kit (two daughters below the age of 4), contains a Fenix E12

They all get used, can't fault any of them.

    A few updates since last year;

I've got lights all over for everything, no shelf queens, all lights deployed waiting to be used.

    • Streamlight Siege (D) upstairs hallway end table
    • Rayovac Indestructable (D) lantern on dining room end table
    • Convoy C8 (18650) on shelf at front door
    • Convoy M1 (18650) on shelf at garage door
    • SupBeam K40Mvn (18650) in kitchen
    • Fenix PD35 (18650) in bedside safe with wife's Sig P938
    • Main camera bag in the dining room has a BLF Eagle Eye X6 (18650) and Fenix E05SS (AAA) (on a keyring) in it
    • Sunwayman V11Rvn (16340) on my person, left cargo pocket pass through slit
    • Fenix E05SSvn (10440) on my person on a Python clip on Gamble Mini-D clipped in left side pocket
    • Work bag (5.11 Rush72) in dining room is loaded
      • SupBeam K40vn (18650) main compartment
      • Niwalker MiniMax 25MB (18650) left side pocket replaced Fenix PD35vn
      • Nitecore HC50 (18650) sunglass pocket
      • MecArmy FM11 (10180) sunglass pocket, too cool not to carry so I just threw it in here since it is sooo small, it is on the headband
      • Fenix E15 (cr123) on a keyring in the admin pocket
      • Streamlight Siege (AA) right side pocket
      • Nitecore EA11 (14500) in my Maxped Beefy in the main compartment
      • Streamlight Polytac 90 (cr123) strapped to backpack strap replaced Fenix HL50
      • First Aid bag (Vanquest FATPack 7x10 Gen 1) in the main compartment
        • Fenix HL50 (cr123) inside left flap pocket
        • Nitecore EA21 (AA) right side PALS
Every single room in the house has at least 1 AA/AAA cheapie Costco or Sipik clone light in it, kids are always running around with them but as I do my walk around/clean up at night I redistribute as needed. They know not to mess with the higher end lights unless they are given to them or it is an emergency.

Also higher end lights in every car and car bag, first aid bag, need to list those too.
