In an ideal world I would like to keep the orig corkscew as I do find I have used it on occasions to open wine bottles at improntu parties and also with the mini screwdriver. But I do like the philips option as well, so for me in a perfect world I would like both on the underside of my SAK and say lose the hook.

Any one know if this is possible ?

If you like wine or romantic picnics, a corkscrew feature is nice to have.

    Gotta have the screw . . .

The corkscrew is a prerequisite for me. The behavior of having a corkscrew (and good wine/beer) available has been positively reinforced many times . . .

In fact, my ideal multitool would be a skeletool with a corkscrew (one-hand open knife blade, phillips screwdriver, regular screwdriver, pliers, and corkscrew - the perfect minimalistic combination!).

The awl is the useless piece of junk in my opinion. :)

I guess it should be pointed out that SwissBianco sells a version of the aluminum-handled Vic knives with a firesteel along the whole of the backside. The Alox knives don't have the corkscrew to begin with, so it's sort of a replacement :)
