Waist belt is looking good. Interesting change on the harness Helm. They do look streamlimed, and the upper attachments have been relocated to the rear of the straps. Will the shoulder straps still have quick release buckles? Thanks for the shots.
I'm looking to get a little more internal space and don't use the EDC compartment- can anyone think of an reason that removing the thick foam between the EDC compartment and laptop compartment would be an issue?

I recently ordered the new shoulder straps (Kifaru style) when A19 released them and they fit like a dream. I actually stopped using the pack in favor of my GR1 because I really didn't fancy the original straps - but since converting them over, we've made up and I use that as my primary office pack again. Can't wait to see what 2.0 looks like.
I have installed the new shorter straps (with quick release buckle) and it has solved the initial problems that I had. I had problem that the top part of the thicker padding was twisted when using it. With the new straps, it's not as comfortable as the thicker (longer) straps and the quick release buckles are almost in constant hitting/abrasing my side ribs as well as the inner arm. But other than that, Im glad that it solved the problem. Thanks to Helm and Bobby as well as RF with the tips.
