Get well soon brother! You deserve the rest I'm sure! We are grateful for the updates sir! Looking very awesome!! Ps. Love the upgraded G-hooks for the compression straps!
Also as a heads up... This might be to a good time to mention that @HELM has launched a new website this month... https://www.alphaoneniner.com/ His former Squarespace site has been retired. So, if you have a few moments, drop by and register for a new account. It's a super easy process. This will speed up the shopping experience, especially with the eminent release of the EV2. Also, there an excellent site wide Holiday sale!!
@HELM - Hope you get to feeling better very soon! Being under the weather and sick during the Holiday season is no fun. A couple quick questions.... 1. What fabrics are those in the pictures? 2. As the holidays approach, I am going to be doing some holiday travel which may correlate with shipping dates. Thus, can I have shipping delayed a bit? More than happy to send a PM to discuss.
Oh man, I forgot about this one. Yeah we had to migrate ‘cos SquareSpace is just getting too pricey for what you get. We’ve got all our other e-comms on Shopify so A19 was the last one to migrate. Everyone’s account is online at the new Shopify site BUT for some reason it has been deactivated. If you have ordered from A19 online before, PM me your name and I will send an invite link to re-activate the account. Apologies for this inconvenience. Thanks RF, appreciate the reminder!!!
Okay Race, so it’s the 1050D Ballistic Nylon, followed by the 500D Wolf Gray and finally the 420D Diamond Ripstop. Dude just for you I can delay shipping ALL YOU WANT!!! Yeah I finally hit the gym for a Les Mills class today and so far so good. Another couple of days and I’ll be 100% and ready to annoy the heck out of my wife again! Thanks for the get well wish mon ami.
@HELM, Thanks for clarifying which materials are which in the pics. A quick follow up question, do you have pricing locked in yet for each option? Want to make sure i have enough pennies saved up
Thanks, @HELM, I will send over a PM to discuss specifics on shipping...as to not clog up the thread.
Glad to hear you're on the mend, that sucks to come home for the holidays and get hot with the bug. Thank you for the updates and pictures. Would it be helpful to have a compiled list of users and requests (ala the original evade reservation thread)... Or do you already have that all noted? The rest of the family is about to crash so I've got nothing to do for the night but scotch and Netflix.
LOL, man that sounds like me except for the fact that I'm a 53 year old guy that is still hung up on anime! I wish they didn't have to cancel Bleach. Urgh. Repeats on Hulu it is. PS I got the list of pre-orders all done up, no worries
No I don't think he has, no one else has until today. I had to re-do it several times 'cos I just wasn't happy with it. I had one from OV Innovations so the kudos should go to them for the design base. They use 2 rods inside and I like how it held the shape over a helmet, for instance, but man trying to find the right rod was a challenge on its own. I ended up using 2mm solid fiberglass rods that I found in Seattle. Carbon fiber was just to darn stiff. The will also be a slight revision here.......the new 3/4 compression straps as mentioned are removable so for the top one, all you have to do is remove the strap with the male buckle part and the beavertail will snap directly into the female buckle part at the back.
I especially like that the bottom connection points are essentially web loops.... opens many attachment options/methods. Also, no hardware exposed internally against gear. So @HELM , are the upgraded (adjustable) G-Hooks to used on both the BT and compression straps?
Those G-Hooks are just to big 'cos they are meant for the 1" webbing. I spoke to WooJin about this and they said they will get the 3/4" (20mm) hooks for us but it will never make it in time for this production. I will offer the BT with buckles but when the hooks are available, I'll make 'em available so you can easily swap them out because nothing is fixed, all removable.
I just saw it, and I couldn't be more excited! It looks awesome @HELM, great work. Like you said RED, our dreams have come true!
